Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the XAPI Korea website and API services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

XAPI Korea provides programmatic access to publicly available used car listing data sourced from Encar.com, including search, listing details, inspection reports and market analytics, delivered as English-translated JSON via a REST API.

XAPI Korea is an independent, unofficial service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Encar.com or its operators. All vehicle data originates from publicly accessible listings and remains the property of its respective owners.

3. Accounts and API keys

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • Your API key is personal to your account. You are responsible for keeping it secret and for all activity performed with it.
  • You must notify us promptly if you believe your key or account has been compromised; you can rotate your key at any time from the dashboard.

4. Plans, billing and renewals

  • The Free plan includes a limited monthly request quota at no charge.
  • The Pro plan is a monthly subscription billed in advance through our payment provider (Creem.io) at the price shown on our pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
  • You can cancel at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges; your Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • We may change plan pricing or quotas with at least 14 days' notice before the change applies to your next billing period.

5. Refunds

All payments are final and non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods and unused request quota. You can cancel your subscription at any time to avoid future charges, and we recommend using the Free plan to evaluate the Service before subscribing. Nothing in this section limits any refund rights you may have under mandatory applicable law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Circumvent rate limits, quotas or authentication, or share one key across multiple products or customers without a plan that permits it.
  • Resell or redistribute raw API responses as a competing data feed.
  • Use the data to spam, harass or defraud vehicle sellers or buyers.
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable law.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with notice where practicable.

7. Data accuracy and availability

Vehicle data is retrieved from third-party public sources in real time and is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that listings, prices, translations or inspection data are accurate, complete or current, and the Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or upstream changes. Pro plans include priority support as described on the pricing page.

8. Intellectual property

We retain all rights to the Service, including our API design, documentation, website and branding. You retain all rights to applications you build using the API. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the API in accordance with your plan.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, XAPI Korea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated "Last updated" date, and where reasonable, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
